The first day of Wimbledon saw Andy Murray seal his place in the second round after a (some-what dramatic) win against Nikoloz Basilashvili. We also witnessed 19 year old Brit, Jack Draper, put on a fantastic show against Novak Djokovic (earning him a standing ovation and showcasing his future potential) and our very own Katie Boutler made it through to round 2 (giving us some hope after Konta was forced to exit).
And there was drama at last night's Euro's as Switzerland won their match against world champions France after it went to penalties. Even for those who don't like football, this served up some excitement and proves anything is possible!
It may be too early to shout "it's coming home", but there's no place for negativity here, so let's celebrate success and soak up all the good news that's still out there!
