So who are we?

We are people people, we believe that the single most important thing a company can do is hire great people.  We also believe that every single person deserves to be in a job that is right for them, that allows them to be the person they can be.  We help people find their dream job and we help companies hire great talent.

What are we?

We are a very well regarded and successful specialist headhunting and recruitment company, we are based in a barn conversion in a pretty village between Newbury, Basingstoke and Reading. The village is sleepy but we aren't, the majority of our clients are major brands, usually based in London so whilst we reap the benefits of living in rural Hampshire/Berkshire, we work in the cut and thrust of a London centric market.

Why Headhunting?

Well, why not? If you like working with committed, motivated and up beat people then you're already half way there, we work with great talent every day. You don't need any specific experience, we can train the skills, we can't train your attitude and personality. We earn good money and earnings follow your ability.

If the thing that you really bring to the table is your personality - your ability to get people working together and herd cats over the finish line, then this is possibly for you!

All this and we go home at a decent time and don't work weekends.  We believe strongly in a work-life balance. Plus, we treat each other like grown ups - this is not a pile it high, flog it cheap call centre style environment. I should probably also point out that we know our business, we have achieved 30% annual growth for the past two years and are about to do it again so you should view this as an entrepreneurial career opportunity in an ambitious firm, not just a job in a pretty barn in the sticks.

What type of people work here?

We have people from diverse backgrounds; ex-military, lawyers, actors, sales people et al. We are a true melting pot of personalities but the attributes that we all have in common are listening skills, people influencing skills, effective intelligence and a high level of integrity. We are also all quite high achieving and particularly enjoy beating corporates at their own game.

Compensation details

Realistic annual income is between £40,000 and £60,000 but some people achieve well over this and it will increase with experience. Salary is divided between a high basic and a strong profit share/bonus which is paid every three months.

Profit Share:

As well as a market leading salary and bonus structure, Beringer Tame is unique in this market in that it shares profit equally with its employees. It’s a relatively straight forward benefit, once you have been in the business for 2 years you will receive an equal share of the profit to your colleagues.  Being a relatively small company with high profit margin, this can be a significant part of your package and means that we attract and retain some of the best people in the industry.
