England may not have won the Euros, and Andy didn't win us Wimbledon, BUT the nation has come together through a level of sporting pride which we have't seen for some time.

And rightly so!

We reached the final of the Euros for the first time in 55 years, Mark Cavendish has equalled Eddy Merckx's all time record at the Tour de France, and we had a British mixed doubles winner (and 3 British runner ups) at Wimbledon.

If that wasn't enough British legacy, Sir Richard Branson successfully reached 'the edge of space' this weekend on board his "Virgin Galactic rocket plane".  We wonder whether Sir Elton John will want to share his 'Rocket Man' title now?

... and there seem to be positive signs that the travel industry is starting to move as British Airways, amongst others, have seen an increase in demand following the loosening of lockdown rules.

Oh and it looks like the weather is set to change so maybe it is finally time to get that summer wardrobe fully unpacked!
