More networking this week;  this time with a random group of entrepreneurs.

Shopify and its ecosystem seem to have become a constant in everyone's lives, but the most interesting new chat came from an expert in gaming compliance.

Gambling companies have a legal duty to make sure they are not selling their nebulous benefits to people who can't afford to lose money.  His business had developed some very granular postcode analytics on affluence - something that he was now turning on its head to feed into marketing campaigns for on-line retail... which fed into the next hot topic - pricing.  How, when and to whom do you increase prices?  Can you use price increases to drive sales (..in three weeks time we will be increasing our prices...)?

On a different note, here are the top ecommerce & digital news stories from the past week.  Enjoy!
