Tech Newsletter design for website (370 x 300 px)

Having just been to a breakfast meeting/networking session focused on travel, it is fascinating to see how much thought is going into changing that industry's marketing message and positioning.

Obviously the whole industry has had a massive battering over the last two years (unless you are a private jet operator!) but there are structural problems that were apparent way before Covid.

Travel accounts for 20% of manmade carbon emissions and it is going to be pointless flying to ski if there isn't any snow.  So the industry has embraced the challenge and there was much interesting talk about eco-tourism, slow holidays, fewer but better quality experiences and even philan-tourism.

None of this is surprising, but it is interesting to see an industry react and adapt to an existential crisis and another reminder - if it were needed - about how sustainability is not only good for the planet but it is almost undoubtably good for your bottom line.
