Judging by the traffic this morning, today's national rail strike has forced many people back on the roads. However, given the rise of remote working over the past few years, this latest industrial action is unlikely be as disruptive as those previously experienced. As least let's hope so!

Separately, recent research has suggested that over a quarter of retailers in the UK are planning to enter the metaverse.

Considering that annual global metaverse spending could reach $5 trillion by 2030, is it now just a foregone conclusion that we'll be donning headsets and experiencing every day retail in virtual reality sooner rather than later?
