Ecommerce & Digital News Weekley - 12 September 2022

Tech Newsletter design for website (370 x 300 px)

What a difference a week makes.

We now have a new PM who promises to sort out energy prices and a new King.  We are not sure that there is anything left to say that hasn't already been said about QEII so we'll just send our deepest respects.

The most exciting news is the almost total collapse of the Russian army.  Whilst this could lead to some serious instability it means that we should get through to calmer times sooner which should directly feed through to a reduction of inflation and a return of consumer confidence.

Other things behind the scenes are moving in the right direction too with, for example, container costs dropping by 50% and still going down.  Even oil is getting cheaper.

"We should take comfort that while we may have more still to endure, better days will return"
