In a clear demonstration of the dominance of e-commerce vs bricks and mortar, ASOS has now acquired the Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge and HIIT brands. To be fair to the high street this is really proving the point that business survival depends on investing in the business rather than very large yachts!
The ability of the media to find pockets of pessimistic news is still astonishing but it does now seem clear that we are beyond the latest peak and that the Government has mounted an extremely impressive vaccination campaign. 8th March may not be the end of home-schooling for everyone but at least it may mark the beginning of the end.
