Our client has grown from £4M to £80M turnover in the last 5 years. Its multi-channel retail operation has benefited from online growth during Covid and now it is riding the return to the high-street with an aggressive expansion of its franchise-led retail footprint. It continues to grow and is profitable.

The business is looking for a Head of Growth to work with the senior leadership team to define and execute an digital marketing strategy to turbo charge its next phase of customer growth. This senior leadership role will report directly to the CEO and work closely with department heads across product, commercial, development and retail. A lean in-house team, accompanied by digital marketing agency support, has already built a strong digital marketing capability. You will play an equal role in developing the marketing team and this capability whilst also focusing on the day-to-day delivery of growth targets.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the strategy and tactics of digital marketing providing an ever-growing number of potential customers with a high propensity to convert
  • Manage all performance marketing channels with a focus on affiliates
  • Develop nascent performance channels including PPC, Display and Paid Social
  • Review and manage SEO and liaise with the Product team for landing page optimisation
  • Build key audiences, personas, and other targeting criteria in order to test and deploy specific campaigns to support growth.
  • Oversee and improve marketing calendar and campaigns 
  • Manage direct report for in-store marketing and promotions
  • Manage direct report for CRM and retention
  • Manage agency relationships

Experience and skills required

  • Experience in SME entrepreneurial environment a must
  • Multi-channel - experience in D2C and retail
  • A deep understanding of attribution models
  • Full understanding of PPC campaign structure
  • Subscription business model experience useful
  • Proven track record of influencing decision-making at board level for marketing strategy

Location - M4 corridor/West London hybrid model
