FMCG
Washington

Permanent, Up to £100k

As the Head of Ecommerce, your job is really to make the buying process as easy as possible; whether customers are buying on Amazon, via retailers or directly from the new ecommerce website, you will ensure that they can discover and buy the trusted FMCG product range easily and hassle-free.

Key responsilbilities:

  • Plan and implement the UK Ecommerce strategy to incorporate  Bricks & Clicks, pureplay, direct-to-consumer (d2c) and sales plans; developing relationships and collaborating with the wider team (UK Sales, Digital and Trade marketing, category managers, supply chain, finance)
  • Negotiate trading terms, promotions and other activity tailored to multiple accounts adhering to the overall UK brand strategies.
  • Maximise capabilities of key retailer platforms to communicate brand strategy and activity.
  • Provide trackers, monthly/quarterly board reports and solutions with contingency planning for remedial action as appropriate.
  • Deliver seamless online execution of all NPD and promotions.
  • Adopt and share best practice experience with global ecommerce teams

If you have existing experience from a brand owner then this could be a chance to take on a fresh leadership challenge for a truly global brand that’s growing fast.

For someone who has built a career in retail ecommerce, this is a really smart career move. By moving across the floor from a retailer to a brand owner/manufacturer you will be developing a new set of skills, learning to manage ecommerce not just through your own website but across third parties too.
