We are looking to appoint the global digital marketing and ecommerce strategy leader for one of the world's most respected luxury hotel brands. Leading a team of experienced regional directors who are spread geographically across different times zones, you will take overall responsibility for online sales, owning both the global digital marketing strategy and the ecommerce website.  

The skills required to be successful in this role are spread across three key areas:

Strong management, communication & relationship-building: Managing a first class team of capable and motivated digital specialists whilst collaborating closely with other teams and stakeholders. 

Great focus on data & detail: Deep, practical experience hands-on experience with online customer acquisition and online conversion strategies from an environment where you have had to drive clever, focussed and targeted campaigns that make maximum use of limited budgets.

Strategic thinking & growth mindset: This is a leadership role where you will have responsibility for the groups main sales channel, short term execution and business as usual operation must be flawless but you must also be able to add value and have a long term plan focussed on growth and maintain a growth culture in your team. 

What I am looking for:

• A track record of delivering excellent digital acquisition and conversion strategies, in house in a similar ecommerce environment 
• Deep cross boarder and international experience 
• Experience of managing and developing capable managers 
• Ecommerce experience is essential - but not necessarily from the luxury or hotel sector
