Digital Marketing Manager

Our client are just at the beginning of their ecommerce journey so it's important that they get the next steps right which is why we are looking for their first dedicated Digital Marketing Manager. This is a brand new role, a blank canvas, where you'll open up the brand's online profile via digital marketing activity and help customers to buy. PPC is top of the agenda however it's a broad role which incorporates hands-on Social, Content, SEO, Affiliates and Email marketing.

key responsibilities

Knowledge: Immerse yourself in the market; understand the product, the customer, paths to purchase, the wider landscape & competition
Strategy: Agree a digital marketing strategy focussed on new customer acquisition. Set clear CPA budgets and work closely with the rest of the team to ensure a joined-up strategy
PPC:  Review all current activity and optimise, constantly testing, learning and evolving to get better ROI from paid search
Google Shopping: Continually optimise google shopping feeds, loading pages and product selection
Paid Social:  Experiment with paid social campaigns, exploiting opportunities where positive ROI can be achieved
SEO:  Ensure the business is covering the basics with regards to SEO
Content: Ensure all digital marketing content is high quality, engaging and optimised for brand engagement
Affiliates: Manage our relationship with our affiliate partner, maximising both support and platform innovation
Email & CRM:  Be prepared to test and develop retention strategies, retaining customers and gaining repeat purchase
Experiment and test: Experiment and test other digital marketing channels or strategies when you identify an opportunity
Data & Measurement:  Establish a clear understanding of the key data points and metrics centred around GA. Set clear KPI’s against which to measure performance and review regularly.
