Information for Candidates
Our candidates are at the very centre of our business and we spend the vast majority of our time finding, meeting and staying in touch with you. If you work in an online job for a client-side brand or a client facing role for a digital services company and aren't already talking to us then get in touch!
This area of our website gives you more information about how we can work with you. It also has some handy resources including tips for interview and CV writing.
How do I become a Beringer Tame candidate?
The first thing we need from you is a CV, which you can email across to us. It's useful at this stage if you can also make us aware of your current salary, notice period and write a brief paragraph introducing yourself to us.
Your CV gets read by an experienced consultant who will make a decision on the next step, there are generally three outcomes:
1. We may invite you to come and meet us. This is good news and means that we think you have the potential to take a role with one of our clients. It's really important that we meet face to face so we can get to know you properly (we can do this via Skype/Telephone in some specific cases).
2. We may choose not to meet you and politely steer you towards other agencies. This doesn't mean that your experience isn't any good, it is simply a reflection of the fact that we are really very niche so only work with a specific range of skills and you may fall outside of that.
3. In a small minority of cases we may not actively register you but we will retain a copy of your CV and encourage you to keep in touch. This means that your experience is not squarely within the range of skills that we work with, but you are close.
Once we've met you we will keep in touch and brief you on any roles, which we think might interest you. We also recommend subscribing to our job alerts so you can keep up to date with what jobs we're working on.
Why should I register with Beringer Tame?
There are two reasons to work with us. First and foremost, we have great jobs! We are the exclusive recruitment partner for some really great brands, we usually get early warning of new roles that are coming up and the positions we recruit for aren't always advertised. We have strong credibility with our clients because we meet our candidates. We can use our influence to secure you an interview on the basis of our recommendation, where other agents may fail.
Not only can we help you find out about great jobs, we're also a very useful sounding board for all career management issues - we can help you with everything from negotiating a salary review at work to helping you recruit for your own team.
Whilst your ability and hard work will take you a long way, you also need the right opportunities. A good agent will help push your career forward, securing you the right jobs, the best salaries and also helping you to hire good people when it's your turn to recruit.
