My client are an exciting new startup backed by some of the country's most successful and reputable angel investors and entrepreneurs. They are looking for a Head of Acquisition to join their small but brilliant team. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll define and create a customer acquisition strategy focusing on targeting both their site providers and users.

You’ll have the ability to work remotely or from their central East London office in London.


  • Create and manage the execution of our user acquisition strategy.
  • Identifying opportunities for improving performance by successfully devising and executing a non-traditional way of acquisitions (non SEO, non PPC).
  • Set and carefully track budgets and performance vs goals and budget.
  • Analyse the company’s overall customer acquisition and report.
  • Managing the marketing/acquisitions budget
  • 1 Direct report; Marketing Manager.

You are… 

  • Experienced and have a proven record of managing a marketing/acquisition budget.
  • Experienced in digital media either (at a brand or agency) and the use of existing tools like Google Adwords
  • Pro-active with a can-do attitude
  • Tech-oriented
  • Data- and results-driven
  • Great at communicating your ideas and progress in a business with multiple stakeholders
  • Quick to learn new tools and software
  • You are both strategic and execution-focussed.
  • Great flexibility and ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and deadlines, and prioritise
  • Strong organisational skills, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent self-management skills, with a reputation for being flexible, energetic, hardworking, inspirational and enthusiastic
