Ecommerce Executive - Merchandising & Content BASED IN ITALY

As the Global Ecommerce Executive, you will be responsible for managing the ecommerce website and presence on third party marketplaces for a prestigious and well-respected Italian apparel brand based between Venice and Verona. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Become the focus point within the business for ecommerce website sales performance by optimising conversion and overall trading

  • Effective merchandising - presenting products online in a way that optimises sales

  • Delivering high quality, accurate content on the site

  • Ensuring the best possible customer shopping experience

  • Build positive relationships and communicate with internal stakeholders. Champion ecommerce success

  • Adopt a test and learn programme to support ecommerce decisions and measure outcomes.

  • Analyse web data, report on key metrics (conversion, sales, etc) and drive activity that will positively impact those measures

Skills:

  • Experience of running an ecommerce sales website with multiple products across multiple SKUs. 

  • Experience of using analytics and test/learn to improve website conversion

  • Experience of building online sales from a low base 

  • Native Italian speaker (Essential)

  • International ecommerce sales experience an advantage, particularly Europe, Asia, USA 

  • Amazon Marketplace or similar

  • Excellent team building and development skills
