We are recruiting a senior role for a European pureplay retailer that leads in it’s market. You will be taking on a growing digital team who are particularly strong with PPC. Although the business has done very well with paid search, you role will be to bring a little more sophistication to the acquisition strategy; on the one hand, you will help develop the search marketing strategy further but you will also introduce and develop other customer acquisition channels, exploring opportunities with Affiliates, Paid Social and Display

Key responsibilities:

  • Train, hire and develop your Digital Marketing team to better understand the performance of their areas and identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
  • Design and develop reports to help your team & business stakeholders understand and monitor all aspects of eCommerce performance (website metrics, PPC, SEO and other digital marketing channels).
  • Audit, overhaul, organise and engineer PPC and Google Shopping to enable it to continue to thrive and be an example of best practice.
  • Ensure a strong SEO plan is in place, work with colleagues in web dev, content, PR/Social to ensure an SEO-friendly culture is in place and processes are maintained.
  • Test, expand and optimise digital marketing opportunities other than Bing/Google PPC and SEO. Seek profitable customers in all territories through all channels.
  • Acting as a senior manager, contribute to the overall business strategy. Notably using search data to direct the Product Buying team towards stocking deeper and broader ranges in higher demand categories. Help the website team identify lower performing areas of the website and recommend actions to improve

This brand is already the biggest ecommerce player in it’s field and is achieving over 20% growth each year.  Almost all traffic originates from a Google Search so you will be at the centre of the brands growth strategy and will be working closely with the CEO and Marketing Director.

Furthermore you will be working alongside bright, experienced people and you will be given the tools and time to do your job well.
